Happy Father’s Day!!

I would like to wish all those Father’s out there a very Happy Father’s Day, especially my own Pop’s (Phil Gleeson).  My Dad is the one man on this earth that I look up to, respect and attempt to emulate on a daily basis.  He has been not only a Father to me but my best friend.  Growing up, he was always there for my 4 older brothers and me.  He and my Mom (Cathy) sacrificed for our well being without hesitation.  We grew up in a beautiful small Midwestern town in Cincinnati (Terrace Park) attended a excellent School District (Mariemont) and were taught values like integrity, caring, and the true meaning of FAMILY.  My fondess memories of my Dad are when he would take me out to a local team’s sporting event.  We would go to Red’s games and stop at White Castles on the way home for some sliders.  Xavier and University of Cincinnati Basketball games and of course to the Jungle for a Bengals game.  My dad taught me how to ride a bike, swing a golf club, mow the lawn and just simply do the right thing no matter how hard that decision may be.

Happy Father’s Day Bud!!  I love you very much.

An introduction to the Author

I imagine from the title you can surmise my name is Barry Gleeson and you have landed on my blog.  For my first post I just want to give a quick summary of what you can expect from my future posts.  My interests are many, blogging (of course), dining out, health and wellness, affiliate and network marketing, making money (legally) in numerous ways, manifestation, law of attraction, professional and personal growth projects.  What I hope to do is introduce you to new and interesting experiences, products, and theories.  I plan on doing this intellectually, clearly with a little humor on the side.  I hope to stir up conversation, get feedback, suggestions and constructive criticism.

I presently reside in Beaumont, Texas with my lovely wife of 7 years Michelle and my cat Sammie.  We have just recently moved here for my job which is in the Army and I look forward to exploring the many hot spots of Texas.  If you know the weather out in Texas you can take hot spots literally as well the temperature is definitely hot and humid.  With Tropical Storm Bill hitting the Galveston Coast we here in Beaumont have experienced quite a bit of rain as well.

I look forward to this project and where it will take me.
